Let me start by saying, OMG! This is a big lesson. We are introduced to phrases. These are very important in speed building. We will use phrases everyday. It (as always) is a lot of memorization. There are over 150 phrases in this lesson. I will not list them all, but here is a sampling.
DURING ANY TIME= DR-NT
FROM TIME TO TIME= FRIMT
FOR THE RECORD= FRORD
I am using my flashcard app to help me memorize ALL these phrases. We are also introduced to Non-verbal responses. When someone shakes their head yes or no without saying yes or no. We do not translate what they are implying, we would write (The witness nodded her head up and down) These are called PARENTHETICALS or a message in parentheses. Another new introduction is slang terminology. Yeah, uh/-huh, huh-uh, ain't. We have to write verbatim, even if the person does not use correct grammar. For instance, Hisself, or  theirselves.
