Today is May 6th, and I must say lesson 2 is more difficult. Maybe difficult is not the right word, but it is more challenging.
I learned L, N, P (Beginning and ending)
Long A (AEU)
Question mark (STPH)
And a few arbitraries: He(E), the(-T), is(S / -S), are (R / -R), it (T), I(EU), you(U)
Sounds simple enough right? I got that part down in no time flat. I can now make lots of words and sentences. This is where the challenging part comes in. Given enough time, I could right very well. But trying to keep up with the audio drill, is proving to be difficult. This lesson will take a few more days that lesson one.
I have learned that taking a day off, isn't smart. You don't just pick back up where you ended last. It takes more time to get going. Also, turn off cell phone and ignore home phone. People don't leave you alone, and I do not need interruptions. Today, my best friend called to talk about her Hawaii trip. Love her, but now I will be studying tonight. I will post when I finish lesson 2. expect 2-3 more days.
I am doing so much better today. On the audio drill, I now only get held up at the sentences portion. Progress! Still a day or two before I ace it.
I aced the audio drill!! 100% accurate. I am finding out that my fingers know what to to and I have to stop my mind from over thinking things. Covering the screen helps me from looking down and turning off my cell keeps me focused.
