With the new additions, we can spell a lot more words and sentences.
Sand, Dead, Nag, Reed, Rear, Spring, Straight, Thrill, etc.
With my practice this afternoon, I aced the audio drill for the new letters and arbitraries. When she said "Spell these words" I quit. I will work on them tomorrow. In short, like lesson two, the new letters and arbitraries came very quickly. These words and sentences portion will take more time. I am feeling more confident in my ability and am still happy I chose this program. Lesson two was time consuming, and frustrating in parts. I took the advice from Britta, another CRAH student and read back my notes on the audio drill. Making a mental note to practice where I messed up. I would get slowed down by trying to be 100% accurate. Now I just try to keep up and grade my notes. I have a lot more success this way and it boosts your moral when you mess up one time and the next time you ace it. Lots of practice. I will post more as I work towards finishing lesson 3.
So far I have aced the audio drill up until the sentences portion. I feel like this lesson is slightly easier for me than lesson two. I can't explain it, but I haven't been getting as frustrated. Today I got through the single words section w/o a mistake. That is a confidence booster. I am hoping to have sentences down by the end of the weekend.
I am still practicing every day. Most days i get in 3 hours. Some days are more productive than others. The other day, I just could not get in a groove and I called it quits. I had too much on my brain and after an hour or so I gave up. It just wasn't my day.
